International Admissions

Eligibility & Entry
Tara accepts international students and lists CRICOS courses from Kindergarten through Year 12. International/temporary visa applicants and students studying in Australia for under two years need recent iDAT evidence.[1]
Application Steps
  • Lodge completed application and listed documents.
  • Pay the $220 non-refundable application fee.
  • Complete a family enrolment interview if the Registrar finds the application satisfactory.
  • Accept offer and make initial payments before CoE and, if applicable, CAAW are lodged.[1]

  • Student and both parents’ passports.
  • Immunisation history and two recent reports.
  • iDAT result and student self-introduction video.[1]
Assessment & Interview
A recent (within six months) iDAT is required; satisfactory applications proceed to a family interview with student and parents.[1]
English Requirements
The stated minimum is 70–80% ‘Ready with Minimal Support’ on iDAT; all iDAT costs are paid by the family.[1]
ELICOS Acceptance
If proficiency is below the stated level, Tara may require intensive English before mainstream study and reassesses proficiency on completion.[1]

Eggleton House boards girls from Years 5–12; unaccompanied Senior School international students must board there.[1][2]
